Position Summary
The Assistant Women's Swimming Coach is responsible for assisting with team instruction; practice monitoring; recruitment of student-athletes; and assigned management and administrative duties associated with the direction of an NCAA Division I swimming and diving program.
The Colorado State University Department of Athletics sponsors 16 men's and women's intercollegiate sports and competes as a member of NCAA Division I (FBS). The University is a current member of the Mountain West Conference and future member of the Pac-12 Conference. The University is located in Fort Collins, Colorado, 65 miles north of Denver. Essential Job Duties
Assist in developing, implementing and reviewing daily, weekly, and annual training programs
Assume in an active role in practice including student-athlete instruction, meet and event management, with the ability to utilize multiple communication and compliance platforms
Support student-athlete experience and provide assistance with well-being goals, including academic support; mental health initiatives; nutrition and sports medicine resources, and leadership/educational opportunities
Assist with administrative duties, including the areas of alumni engagement; social media communication; travel arrangements and logistics; purchasing; and equipment management
Take an active approach in creating a program that adheres to NCAA and university compliance policies while supporting the overall mission of Colorado State University
Other duties as assigned

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of one year of intercollegiate coaching experience
Demonstrated proficiency with identifying, developing and implementing training protocol for elite-level athletes
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft apps and social media for the purpose of program management and outreach
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and travel for recruiting and competition
Preferred Qualifications
