Job Description
Summary
Client is looking for a Lead Big Data Administrator to support its existing Cloudera / AWS data platform while the existing team supports the ongoing enterprise migration to AWS.
This resource will be responsible for configuring, troubleshooting, and installing infrastructure systems. They have completed their CDP Private Cloud migration (on-prem) and currently migrating to CDP Public Cloud (AWS). This role will focus on leading the automation of services within Cloudera and integrating components, such as Solr and HBase into Cloudera.
Must have skills
13+ years of experience as a Big Data Administrator using Cloudera and HBase.
Experience leading a team of junior or mid-level resources providing mentoring/coaching.
1+ years of administration experience for CDP Public Cloud
Experience with AWS technologies such as (S3, EC2, ECS, EMR etc.)
Experience setting up or implementing Apache Solr on Cloudera.
Experience with automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Jenkins, AWS CloudFormation, Kubernetes, etc. (Preference is Ansible)
Nice to have
Ab Initio administration experience
