Job description

Title: Administrative Project Manager
Location: Merritt Island, FL
Duration: 6 Months

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Project Manager to lead and coordinate strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, quality standards, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between leadership, internal teams, and external stakeholders, driving projects from initiation through completion while maintaining clear communication, accountability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and resource allocations.
  • Identify project dependencies, risks, constraints, and mitigation strategies to ensure successful execution.
  • Coordinate activities across cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, timelines, and performance metrics, providing regular status updates to leadership.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, dashboards, and project documentation.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, expectations, and deliverables.
  • Lead change management initiatives and support organizational adoption of new processes, systems, and programs.
  • Participate in leadership meetings to identify organizational barriers and recommend solutions that improve decision-making and execution.
  • Ensure projects meet established quality, compliance, safety, and operational standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
  • Escalate critical issues and provide recommendations to leadership for timely resolution.
 
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 5 years of project management, program management, or operations management experience.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously from planning through execution.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Experience preparing executive reports, project dashboards, and leadership presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment across teams.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to balance aggressive timelines while maintaining quality, compliance, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, defense, aviation, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), CAPM, or similar certification.
  • Experience with change management methodologies and organizational transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of performance metrics, KPI tracking, and business process improvement.
  • Experience working directly with executive leadership and senior stakeholders.
