Your day might include:

  • Providing friendly companionship and meaningful conversation
  • Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
  • Assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, and home organization
  • Helping with meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Providing medication reminders
  • Assisting with pet care and plant care as needed
  • Engaging clients in hobbies, games, reading, and activities they enjoy
  • Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)- bathing, dressing, transferring and toileting as assigned

Who We're Looking For

Required:

  • Has genuine warmth, patience, and a love for spending time with seniors
  • Has reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Pass a background check
  • Pass a drug test
  • Brings a positive, upbeat, and calming presence to every visit
  • Must be 18 years old
  • At least 1 year of caregiving experience with a home care agency

Preferred:

  • Prior caregiving or companion care experience
  • Experience with seniors with memory loss, Alzheimer's, or dementia
  • CPR/First Aid certification
