Responsibilities
- Oven Operation: Safely operate industrial ovens, including setting temperatures and timers, loading and unloading products, and monitoring baking processes.
- Quality Control: Inspect baked goods for quality and consistency, ensuring they meet The Cheesecake Factory's high standards. Conduct taste tests as necessary.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of ovens and baking equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages and assisting in inventory management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other bakery staff to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or baking experience preferred.
- Previous experience as an oven operator or in a baking/food manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and specifications accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
Preferences & Certificates/Licenses
- Familiarity with various baking techniques and recipes, particularly for cheesecakes and other desserts.
