The Operations Support Technician (OST) is responsible for restaurant-level accounting and human resource functions, requiring attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and confidentiality with sensitive company information.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily reconciliation of sales transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
- Manage cash handling and bank transactions with precision and accountability.
- Reconcile invoices promptly and accurately to maintain vendor relationships and financial integrity.
- Efficiently enter and maintain data in relevant systems to support operational and reporting needs.
- Process new hire information accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Administer benefits effectively, supporting employee understanding and utilization of company-provided benefits.
- Provide exceptional customer service to staff and corporate departments, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support restaurant computer equipment, ensuring functionality and troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
- Maintain records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements, ensuring accurate retention and retrieval as necessary.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability as a self-starter and quick learner, adept at adapting to new tasks and responsibilities.
- Flexible availability to accommodate varying hours and schedules as needed.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, ensuring accurate financial management.
- Comprehensive computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, essential for efficient office operations.
- Upholds strict confidentiality and acts discreetly with sensitive information.
- Proven problem-solving skills, capable of resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities concurrently.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, fostering productive relationships within a diverse team environment.
