What You Will Be Doing
As the Social Media & Content Manager, you will own ChargePoint's social media presence and content strategy, driving engagement, thought leadership, and pipeline growth through high-quality, performance-driven content. This role combines social media strategy, real-time content capture, corporate storytelling, and product communications in a highly technical, primarily B2B environment. As the primary on-site content lead, you will collaborate closely with leadership, cross-functional teams, and creative agency partners to translate complex concepts into compelling, platform-appropriate content that performs for the business. You will ensure messaging balances brand and technical accuracy, aligns with campaign goals, and delivers measurable results. Your work will elevate thought leadership, executive visibility, and product storytelling while reiterating ChargePoint's category leadership.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Lead and execute the company's social media presence across multiple platforms
- Manage content calendars, campaign concepts, and platform strategy
- Identify content opportunities related to company culture, products, leadership, customers, and industry trends
- Serve as the primary in-office content capture lead at company headquarters, producing video, photos, interviews, product demos, and executive content
- Work directly with internal stakeholders to gather content efficiently and professionally
- Coordinate with creative agency to ensure creative assets align with campaign goals, branding and platform needs
- Foster agency teams to effectively execute workflows through to reporting
- Translate technical concepts into clear, engaging, and credible social content
- Act as a bridge between product and growth marketing and the communication team
- Support internal communications activity, including townhalls and company emails
- Monitor content performance and audience engagement
- Identify social trends, platform insights, and engagement opportunities to drive business impact via future content
Requirements
- 5+ years of social media experience, preferably in a B2B environment
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field - Expert-level knowledge of social media platforms and best practices
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to produce on-brand content quickly
- Photography and videography experience for social media applications
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
- Experience capturing and directing video and photo content
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven track record of growing audiences organically and driving engagement
- Ability to provide clear creative direction
- Experience leveraging data and analytics to inform content strategy
- High attention to detail and execution accuracy

ChargePoint is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The targeted US salary range for roles at this operating level is $112,500 to $170,000. This range represents base salary and does not reflect equity, benefits or variable pay where applicable. Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
