Job description

Position will interact with helping to manage and implement projects around complex projects that include but is not limited to Virtual Machines, Switchgear, Network and IT Services, onsite technicians, startup, etc.


Vital Factors:

  • Proactive communication of timely information to internal and external personnel
  • Proper escalation of issues in a timely fashion and through proper means
  • Utilize CED technology and resources for organization and communication
  • Accurately review bills of material (BOMs) and scope of work (SOW) for accuracy and completion

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Comply with all U.S., State, and local laws
  • Comply with our company SPIs and ethical standards
  • Adhere to and comply to our limited distribution model
  • Manage tasks and projects in accordance with industry standards as our company
  • Share project status and or present information both internally and externally on regular disciplined means and methods (power point, email, etc)
  • Handle all requests for information in a professional, complete, and thorough manner
  • File and keep records in the appropriate platform (CEDNet, shared folders, Salesforce, Etc)
  • Answer telephones promptly and professionally.
  • If necessary, communicate messages and information to appropriate parties if they are unavailable.
  • Photocopying/scanning of documents
  • Turn all paperwork in promptly and correctly.
  • Organize and plan project tasks and schedules
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Learn and Develop knowledge around our products, solutions, and services
  • You should be aware of our business goals and strategies to ensure projects align with business priorities
  • Properly apply them to review BOMs, Projects, Etc.
  • Learn to up sell cost effective alternative materials and/or additional accessories and services
  • Or regularly available material
  • Ability to research Credit Memos.
  • Ability to understand mathematically calculations for the purpose of pricing and costing.
  • Math skills that include calculating percentages, decimals (.1, .01, .001) and discount multipliers.
  • Ability to answer telephones and provide courteous, prompt and efficient service to customers.
  • Possess a basic knowledge of computers and Internet (vendor websites).
  • Possess filing skills, both alphabetically and numerically.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to travel and visit with customers or job sites to review ongoing or potential projects with the sales team.
  • Ability to comprehend, read, and to communicate the English language orally and in writing.
  • Capacity to multi task, to be organized and consistent.
  • Be present during your regularly assigned hours to assist customer needs and demands. Extended and/or frequent absences are detrimental to the business and your relationship with the customer.
  • Understanding of customer needs and expectations.
  • Capabilities to ask questions, understand the application, and offer materials that fulfill those requirements.
  • Receive and forward customer and vendor feedback while making suggestions for improvement.
  • Desire to exceed expectations and earn customer trust and confidence in one’s capabilities and performance.
  • Proactively follow-up with outstanding requests, activity, etc
  • Issues can always arise that are outside of our direct control, but it is essential to communicate those prior to the customer finding out through a missed deadline or expectation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work in the United States
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, relevant experience
  • Sit for long periods of time
  • Travel within the PNW and occasionally, across the U.S.
  • Read, write, and comprehend the English language
