CBTS Jobs Information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Quality Assurance Analyst, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Quality Assurance Analyst, you need strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a background in software testing or quality assurance methodologies, often supported by a relevant degree or certification. Familiarity with test management tools (such as Jira or TestRail), automated testing frameworks (like Selenium), and knowledge of software development life cycles are commonly required. Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset help you navigate team environments and articulate issues effectively. These skills ensure the delivery of high-quality products, minimize defects, and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

What are some common challenges Quality Assurance Analysts face when testing new software releases?

Quality Assurance Analysts often encounter challenges such as tight project deadlines, incomplete or changing requirements, and the need to quickly adapt to new technologies or testing tools. They may also face difficulties in reproducing intermittent bugs and ensuring comprehensive test coverage across multiple platforms and devices. Effective communication with developers and product managers is key to addressing these challenges and ensuring high-quality software releases.

What are Quality Assurance Analysts?

Quality Assurance Analysts are professionals responsible for testing software and systems to ensure they meet specified standards of quality. They design and execute test plans, identify defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. Their main goal is to ensure that products are reliable, functional, and user-friendly before release. QA Analysts play a key role in preventing bugs and improving the overall user experience.

What is the difference between Quality Assurance Analyst vs Quality Control Inspector?

Events are a critical growth lever at CBTS/OnX. This role is instrumental in how we deliver on our events center of excellence-ensuring every experience we produce reflects our best practices, strengthens the brand, and drives meaningful outcomes.
Role Summary
The Events Marketing Manager will play a key role in delivering high-quality events across CBTS/OnX's corporate, partner, and regional marketing programs. This role sits within the events pod on the Growth Marketing team and is responsible for executing events in alignment with our established event tiering structure, championing best practices, and serving as a super user of our standardized event management tools.
This is a hands-on role focused on consistency, operational excellence, and business impact across a wide range of events, including industry conferences, partner events, customer forums, and proprietary experiences. Critically, this role goes beyond event management-it treats every event as a leverage point to drive business outcomes, maximize the value of our investment, and create meaningful opportunities for the business at every turn.
Role Responsibilities
• Deliver events end-to-end in alignment with established event tiering standards and best practices
• Serve as a super user of standardized event management tools and platforms across all event types
• Embody and reinforce the events center of excellence in every engagement
• Execute event logistics, promotion support, storytelling assets, and on-site coordination
• Manage assigned event workstreams within budget parameters and defined timelines
• Partner collaboratively across the marketing team to deliver cohesive, impactful experiences, including:
o Partnering with campaign, partner, and regional marketing leads to understand business goals and proactively build event workstreams that serve those objectives, not just the event itself
o Coordination with the Communications team to activate pre-, during-, and post-event social and editorial content that amplifies our event presence
o Working with Marketing Operations on event registration, lead capture landing pages, and communication workflows for each event
o Engaging the Content team for development and QA of all produced event materials, ensuring accuracy, quality, and brand consistency
o Partnering with the Sales GTM and Customer Insights teams to ensure all attendee-facing materials reflect our latest positioning, messaging, and stories
• Support operational processes, vendor coordination, and agency relationships under the direction of the Events Lead
• Maintain consistent brand presence and high-quality execution across all events
• Bring a business mindset to every event-looking beyond logistics to identify and activate opportunities that maximize the value of our presence and investment
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by flagging process gaps and sharing learnings
• Track and report on event execution metrics in line with team performance frameworks
• Support data capture, post-event reporting, and optimization efforts
• Collaborate closely with the Events Lead and fellow events pod team member to ensure aligned, coordinated delivery
What You'll Bring
• 8-10 years experience executing B2B events and field marketing programs
• Business-oriented mindset with the ability to view events through the lens of pipeline, relationships, and revenue-not just logistics
• Strong operational mindset with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with event management tools and platforms; quick to adopt and master new technology
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
• Comfort working within defined processes and structures while contributing ideas for improvement
• Willingness to travel to support key events and on-the-ground execution
