Job Title: Event Security Supervisor - Penn State University

Location: State College, PA

Pay: $16-17.50 / hr

Job Type: Part-time (Events based work, shifts and availability will vary based on Event Calendar)

As an Event Supervisor, you will play a critical role in upholding our reputation by ensuring the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
  • You observe, survey the area, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
  • You provide rapid response in critical situations.
  • You're good with reading and writing detailed reports.
  • You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills. Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office.
  • Must consistently maintain an excellent uniform appearance and grooming standards in accordance with BEST Crowd Management standards.
  • Must be accountable and possess the ability to hold subordinate officers accountable.
  • Leadership or management experience required. Must be personable and have soft skills.
  • Must Possess a valid security license or be willing to obtain one (if required by local regulations).

Your background:

  • You have a high school education or equivalent (GED)
  • You're able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
  • You have Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement supervisory experience of at least 2 years or more
