How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Greet patients and visitors, respond to questions/concerns and directs them to appropriate location.
- Provide on-going communication with clinical staff regarding patient status.
- Collect and enter all necessary demographic, clinical, billing and insurance information from patients or responsible parties and determine and accept required payments, including co-pays and deductibles.
- Explain processes and forms to patients prior to securing signatures and ensure that all documents are properly signed and witnessed as required.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous education in medical terminology strongly preferred.
Work Experience:
- Experience in the job related field preferred.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- 36 hours a week | Between M-F | 4 days a week | Flex hours between 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM| No weekends or holidays
- Hospital or healthcare experience preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills
