Job Description

Basic Qualifications: Minimum 5 years' experience with life insurance and annuity products

Minimum 3 years' experience implementing individual life insurance and/or annuity products in administrative or illustration systems

Minimum 3 years' experience in Life insurance business practices

Minimum 3 years' experience in business consulting or technical consulting

Strong math background (most likely has taken one or more actuarial exams) or FSA (Fellow of Society of Actuaries) and/or ASA (Associate of Society of Actuaries) affiliation Bachelor's degree in math, business, marketing, sales or computer science

Preferred Skills: Life Product configuration Programming experience Requirements Analysis and Development Functional Design Project Management Customer

Experience Design and Facilitation Issue Management and Quality Assurance Product Innovation Strategy Test Management Product Analysis, Configuration, Design and Testing Additional job details:

The ideal candidate has a good working understanding of individual life insurance and annuities products and has experience implementing individual life insurance and/or annuity products in administrative or illustration systems.

We will consider candidates who have been involved in the product development process for these types of products, as long as they also have some technical experience.

We may consider candidates who have experience in valuation and financial reporting for these types of products. We generally do not consider candidates with policy and claims experience, as well as group health or dental.
