Job description

Summary

The Video Department Manager oversees Array's legal video services operations, managing the team responsible for videography coordination, production, and delivery in support of depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings. This role ensures video services are delivered at the highest standard of quality and professionalism, and drives continuous improvement across the video production workflow.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the Video Department, including scheduling, production oversight, and delivery of legal videography services.

  • Supervise and develop video department staff, providing coaching, feedback, and performance management.

  • Oversee the quality of all video productions, ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards for legal video.

  • Manage relationships with freelance videographers, video production vendors, and technology partners.

  • Coordinate with the Scheduling team to ensure video resources are assigned, confirmed, and prepared for all scheduled proceedings.

  • Monitor department KPIs including coverage rates, turnaround times, client satisfaction, and error rates.

  • Drive technology adoption and process improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of video service delivery.

  • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews for video department staff in coordination with HR.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in legal video services, media production management, or a comparable operations leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of legal videography standards, deposition video workflows, and video production processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team and external vendor relationships in a service-delivery environment.

  • Proficient in video production software, scheduling platforms, and Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple productions simultaneously.

The annual Pay range for this role is $65,000-$80,000 and is will be dependent upon the individual's location, skills, experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for a quarterly discretionary bonus.
