Job description

Responsibilities
Position Overview:
Arcfield is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Financial Analyst to support the C34 Financial Office for the Electronic Warfare (EW) Program in Newport, Rhode Island. The selected candidate will provide financial management, budgeting, and program control support to ensure effective execution of EW program objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial analysis and support for the C34 Financial Office, including budget planning, execution, and tracking.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining program budgets, forecasts, and spend plans.
  • Monitor obligations and expenditures to ensure alignment with program goals and funding constraints.
  • Prepare financial reports, briefs, and documentation for leadership review.
  • Support program managers and principle investigators with cost analysis, variance analysis, and financial risk identification.
  • Collaborate with government and contractor stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to DoD financial regulations and audit readiness requirements.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
  • BS and 2-4 years experience, or MA and 0-2 years experience
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or program control (preferably in a DoD environment).
  • Experience supporting government contracts or defense programs.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management tools.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and present findings clearly.
  • Ability to obtain Secret security clearance, active clearance preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting Electronic Warfare (EW) or similar defense programs.
  • Familiarity with Navy financial systems (e.g., Navy ERP).
  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition and budgeting processes (PPBE).
  • Experience working in a C34 or similar financial office environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Equal Pay Act
This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, Arcfield invests in its employees beyond just compensation. Arcfield 's benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Short Term and Long-Term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections. Min: $55,140.31 Max: $95,878.31
