Job description

Responsibilities
Arcfield is looking for an entry or mid-level Electrical Engineer to support In-Service Engineering Agency (ISEA) This position will provide direct support to the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Code 34, team. Tasking will include analysis, design and capability enhancements, testing support, and in-service support for Radar, Imaging, and EW systems. You will provide Engineering expertise as part of an integrated technical team made up of Arcfield and NUWC engineers.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuit card assemblies in Radar/Imaging/EW systems.
  • Ability to understand and develop electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Performance analysis of antenna equipment and digital signal processing.
  • Assess installation and system requirements to determine equipment layout
  • Develop, review, and execute test plans and test procedures.
  • Troubleshoot Radar systems at serval Naval bases throughout the country.
  • Travel required 10% of the time.
  • Develop program status reports such as technical assessments, risk assessments, technical recommendations, and Technical Data Packages.

Qualifications
Requirements/Skills:
  • BS and 0-2 Years experience
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Expertise in Conducting data analysis in MATLAB on theoretical sensor models, synthetic data sets, and live measurements.
  • Be able to travel approximately 10% of the time
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; active clearance is preferable.

Desired Requirements/Skills:
  • 10+ years of professional experience in radar systems engineering, design, analysis and/or test.
  • Familiarity with C/C++, Java, and/or Python is desirable.
  • Experienced in Linux frameworks, modern message protocols, network architecture, and virtual computing

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, Arcfield invests in its employees beyond just compensation. Arcfield 's benefits offerings include, dependent upon position, Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, Holiday Pay, Short Term and Long-Term Disability, Retirement and Savings, Learning and Development opportunities, wellness programs as well as other optional benefit elections. Min: $55,998.60 Max: $97,370.70
