This team drives critical efforts that span both software and hardware teams in order to deliver the best power experience for both new and shipping hardware. As the Manager of this team, you will hire, lead, coach, inspire and develop a team of Engineering Project Managers that are tasked with identifying and driving complex projects with our UI / System Experience teams responsible for delivering exciting features while continuing to meet our ambitious power and ADBL goals. You will need to collaborate with other program management teams across SWE, Product Design, HI, Platform Architecture to support and improve how we deliver projects in Apple at scale.
5+ years of project management experience2+ years of managing project managers, as well as experience in managing people managersDriving large cross-functional efforts across major technical subject areas (SW, HW, Silicon, and QA).Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire team members.Solid analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, as well as an ability to influence and impact key decisionExperience with leading and enhancing existing processes and engineering new processes at scale.
BS or MS in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Experience in working across platforms, particularly in the areas of power, thermals, battery life, performance, and charging is desirable
