    Job description

    Job Summary:
    1872 Consulting is a company that specializes in IT solutions, and they are seeking a .NET Web Developer to develop a variety of custom web applications for internal use. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications while ensuring proper documentation and staying updated with technology trends.
    Responsibilities:
    • Develop custom systems solutions, including the analysis, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of these solutions.
    • Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing applications
    • Create and maintain appropriate application documentation, including end-user and technical maintenance materials, for custom applications.
    • Keep abreast of technology trends and new technologies and recommend as necessary within the group.
    • Other duties, as needed.
    Qualifications:
    Required:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, a related field or equivalent work experience.
    • A strong understanding of the web and application development languages and tools which include: HTML, CSS, Javascript (Jquery, Underscore, Vue JS), .NET framework, VB.Net/C#.Net, SQL, and Responsive Framework – Bootstrap
    • Experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web Forms
    • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server Stored Procedure programming and knowledge of Relational Database concepts.
    • Source Control – VSS, TFS, Git, TDS (Team development for Sitecore)
    • Experience creating and consuming web services
