  • A self-starter mindset with energy, resilience, and drive to succeed in the field.
  • Business acumen to discuss ROI, lifecycle value, and total cost of ownership.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within your territory (50โ€“75%).

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Knowledge of protocols like BACnet, Modbus, or LonWorks.

  • Established relationships with contractors or engineers in the field.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Prospect, qualify, and develop new business by building strong relationships with mechanical contractors, general contractors, consulting engineers, and facility owners.
  • Partner early in the design phase to influence specs and deliver smart, value-driven control solutions.
  • Respond to RFPs, craft compelling proposals, negotiate terms, and close opportunities.
  • Drive account growth through renewals, upsells, and cross-sells.
  • Collaborate with internal operations, engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure flawless delivery.
  • Represent SBT at trade shows, conferences, and industry networking events.
  • Track your pipeline, forecast accurately, and hit or exceed your sales goals

Why Youโ€™ll Love It Here

We believe that a fulfilling career goes beyond just a paycheck. Hereโ€™s how we make sure our team thrives both professionally and personally:

  • Professional Development: Access to World Class continuous learning opportunities, workshops, and certifications.
  • Career Advancement: Clear pathways for growth within the company, with mentorship from industry leaders.
  • Generous PTO: Ample paid time off to relax, recharge, and explore your passions outside of work.
  • Competitive pay: Base pay range of $80,000 โ€“ $110,000+. Commensurate with experience.
