At Therapy Partners of North Texas, it is our mission to provide outstanding orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapy and rehabilitation to the Plano area to keep our citizens active, healthy, and doing what they love to do. 

Job Description

Therapy Partners of North Texas is looking for a part-time/PRN physical therapist technician. This is a fun and dynamic position, ideal for someone looking to go to a graduate program in physical therapy. If you love exercise and working with people, this position is for you. You will assist the physical therapists by:

  • Bringing patients from the lobby to the treatment area upon arrival
  • Set patients up on heat/bike/whatever modality they typically start with
  • Helping patient with exercises
  • Cleaning tables after each patient use
  • Providing feedback and guidance
  • Helping with answering phones and scheduling patients

Schedule:

  • Flexible to accommodate school schedules
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience in a medical environment, ideally in a physical or occupational therapy department, is preferred
  • Excellent customer service
  • Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work
  • Team player attitude and energetic with a focus on excellent customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Caring nature, with a genuine interest in helping people
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
