The Discovery Experiences team forms the technical heartbeat of this two-sided marketplace. It owns the surfaces including Home, Search, Matchmaking, and Notifications that guide navigation across the metaverse.

What Will You Do?

As a Senior / Principal Data Scientist – Discovery at Roblox, you will lead the development of ML solutions and ranking frameworks that power discovery canvases while solving for long‑term ecosystem health and user retention. You will act as the primary scientific advisor to Product and Engineering leaders by using data to drive innovations through deep‑dive insights and ML prototypes. Additionally, you will leverage advanced causal inference methodologies to measure platform initiatives and develop frameworks that scale hypothesis generation for higher experimentation velocity.
