Description:Position Summary

The Fulfillment Specialist coordinates the end-to-end fulfillment of customer orders from release through shipment, ensuring accurate documentation, inventory allocation, and timely execution. This role connects customers with AGSE’s internal operations, coordinating across functions to ensure customer requirements, commitments, and compliance obligations are met accurately and on time. The Fulfillment Specialist provides accurate information, proactive follow-up, and timely communication while identifying and escalating issues that may impact customer delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify customer requirements, including part numbers, quantities, pricing, delivery dates, shipping instructions, and applicable compliance requirements.
  • Create, review, and maintain shipping and quality documentation to ensure customer, regulatory, and internal requirements are met before shipment.
  • Review inventory availability and determine appropriate ship-from location or allocation to support customer delivery requirements.
  • Monitor orders against committed delivery dates and coordinate order release and shipment timing to support on-time delivery.
  • Track material availability, production status, inspections, inventory, and shipment readiness.
  • Track and resolve fulfillment issues, follow up on outstanding actions, and support recovery plans for at-risk orders.
  • Identify requirements that cannot be fulfilled as ordered and proactively escalate risks, delays, shortages, or capacity constraints to Purchasing, Quality, Operations, and Customer Service.
  • Maintain accurate and current Epicor Kinetic data related to customer orders, inventory, fulfillment status, and shipments.
  • Maintain visibility of finished goods inventory and order status to support fulfillment decisions and customer commitments.
  • Provide timely and accurate order status, delivery, change, and shipment information to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively communicate potential delivery issues and coordinate with Customer Service and Sales when customer requirements or expectations require clarification.
  • Coordinate with Logistics to ensure completed orders are shipped according to customer requirements, including transportation, documentation, and domestic or international shipping requirements.
  • Participate in order review and fulfillment meetings and support fulfillment reporting, dashboards, and continuous improvement initiatives.


Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in order management, fulfillment, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems; Epicor Kinetic experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and follow-through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer orders, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with aerospace, industrial manufacturing, or engineered products preferred.
  • Experience with international shipping, customs, FTZs, or logistics is a plus.
  • Responds with urgency and understands customer requirements.
  • Takes responsibility for assigned orders and follows issues through resolution.
  • Identifies issues early and drives effective solutions.
  • Collaborates effectively across Customer Service, Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, and Logistics.


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $60,000 – $75,000

Work Environment

  • This role is on-site in Cincinnati, Ohio 45215. Employees work primarily in an office environment while interacting regularly with customers, suppliers, and internal departments. Occasional visits to manufacturing or warehouse areas may be required. This role deals with international customers and vendors, and off hours may be required at times. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
