Job description

Breitenbush Hot Springs is seeking Fill-In (work that fits your schedule) employees to join the Clearing Arts Team (Housekeeping Team). This position is vital to the cleanliness and comfort we provide to our guests. The Clearing Arts Team reports to the Clearing Arts Team Coordinator. Work will include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
We are seeking candidates who live their values around service, self-motivation, and clear, honest communication, and who enjoy physical work, cleaning and providing welcoming spaces for our guests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning guest accommodations, lodge, bathrooms, showers, pools and tubs
  • Pressure washing
  • Stocking
  • Ordering
  • Event set up/take down

Required Qualifications
  • Ability to work constructively within your team and department
  • Ability to perform repetitive body movements
  • Willingness/ability to work outside in inclement weather
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Self motivated and accountable
  • Strong communication skills even in challenging customer service situations

Desired Qualifications:
  • Interest in worker-owned cooperatives
  • Experience with living in a remote community
