Fill In -Cleaner

We are currently seeking a dependable Part-Time Fill-In for a night shift position at a pay rate of $16.00 per hour. Schedule Monday -Friday 5:00pm-9:30pm A driver's license is required. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned facilities while following all company safety procedures. After completing training, employees will work independently and be expected to manage their assigned duties and routes. Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, emptying trash, wiping surfaces, reporting incomplete tasks to the District Manager, and performing other duties as assigned.

As a General fill-in cleaner, work locations may vary daily depending on staffing needs, special projects, and coverage requirements.

Employees must wear the PCI uniform at all assigned sites, which may include locations in Madison, Fitchburg, Middleton, and the East Side of Madison.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform dusting of office furniture, workstations, cabinets, partitions, and other surfaces.
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable materials in designated disposal areas.
  • Sweep, mop, and maintain hard-surface flooring.
  • Vacuum carpets and floors using upright vacuums and backpack vacuum systems.
  • Remove spots and stains from carpeted areas as needed.
  • Clean interior glass surfaces and other glass areas.
  • Sanitize and clean restrooms, including sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
  • Replenish restroom supplies and ensure facilities remain fully stocked.
  • Polish and maintain metal fixtures, fittings, and other metal surfaces.
  • Complete additional cleaning duties as assigned by management or requested by the customer.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications and Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Able to frequently bend, reach, stretch, lift, carry, and perform repetitive movements in a physically active work setting.
  • Must be able to regularly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team when required.
  • Comfortable handling and working with cleaning products and chemicals.
  • Must have dependable transportation to and from work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
