Description:
This position is responsible for filling in for the manager is unable to work. During that time of coverage, a $4.00 per hour shift pay will apply. The duties of this position include those of food preparation, cooking, serving and storage as well as following all safety/sanitation procedures. Focus on the preparation of planning, cooking, and serving multiple menu options for breakfast and lunch. Lead and assist in overall day to day operations in a high volume kitchen for the Food & Nutrition Services Program. Performing all the duties directed by the manager and Director of Food & Nutrition Services in order to operate a successful school cafeteria.
Supervised by: Kitchen Managers; Operations Manager; Director of Food & Nutrition Services
Location: Barnum
Hours Per Day: 6 hours
Schedule: 6 hours daily based on the School Calendar plus additional days for training and catering.
Qualifications: High School education or equivalent. Qualified Food Operator Sanitation Certified Preferred. Food Service Experience Preferred.
Salary: $20.00+ (based on experience)
