Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to gain insight into client concerns, followed by collaborative development of tailored treatment plans.
  • Facilitate individualized therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques, adapting approaches to the specific needs and circumstances of each client.
  • Actively participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with psychologists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
  • Engage in consistent professional development through training sessions, ensuring your techniques and knowledge align with current industry standards.
  • Contribute to program development efforts by gathering feedback from clients and team members, highlighting areas for enhancement in service delivery.
  • Provide timely crisis intervention and emotional support to clients in distress, maintaining a focus on their safety and well-being.
  • Document all interactions and treatment progress accurately, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal documentation standards.
  • Continuously explore and implement clinical best practices, including recent research and approaches that support mental health recovery and wellness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of your work will encompass a diverse client population facing various mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and more. By providing compassionate support and evidence-based treatment, you will empower clients to make significant strides in their mental health journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of experience in providing counseling services to individuals, couples, and families.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing electronic medical record systems to maintain client documentation.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to delivering culturally competent and inclusive care.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities to build rapport effectively with clients.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 52,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
