• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients' mental health needs to formulate tailored treatment plans that address their specific concerns.

• Provide crisis intervention and emotional support to clients experiencing distress, ensuring they feel safe and understood.

As a licensed mental health counselor, you will engage with a diverse client population facing various emotional and psychological challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your role is vital in empowering patients to pursue positive changes and enhance their overall well-being through tailored counseling approaches.

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• At least two years of experience providing counseling services to individuals, couples, and families is preferred.
• Proven ability to establish rapport quickly with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience in utilizing electronic medical records systems is an asset.
• Commitment to providing culturally competent care and inclusive support.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
