Job Title: Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Certifications: Active state DEA required
Must-Have: Proof of state license and DEA
Description:
We are seeking a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner.
Candidates must have an active state license and active state DEA to be considered.
Proof of state license and DEA will be required upon presentation.
The position is available for a duration from July 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026.
This role involves rounding daily on all floor-level care patients admitted to or seen in consultation on the general cardiology service line.
Responsibilities include writing daily progress notes, event notes, admission histories and physicals, new consult notes, and discharge summaries.
The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for ordering medications, tests, and procedures when indicated.
Most patients will be from the step-down and cardiology unit.
Procedures in the ICU may include arterial line placement, central line placement, and cardioversion as needed.
New consults will be performed with attending medical staff.
Support staff will include hospitalist medicine and cardiology professionals supporting all patients.
Pulmonary critical care and cardiovascular surgery will provide additional support as required.
