LiveNOW from FOX is looking for an Audience Engagement Manager to help define how live, breaking news reaches and resonates with audiences across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X-and whatever comes next.

As the Audience Engagement Manager, you will be at the center of our distribution strategy-focused on growing reach, deepening engagement, and unlocking new audiences through smart, platform-native storytelling. You'll be a key partner to our editorial team-bringing news judgment, content presentation and platform expertise to how we show up on all social platforms.

Reporting to the VP of LiveNOW, you will serve as a motivating, credible partner who provides clear, actionable guidance grounded in data, and help the entire team elevate how we reach audiences.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Multi-Platform Strategy

  • Own and evolve LiveNOW's presence across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, X, and emerging platforms

  • Continuously evaluate where audiences are going-and ensure LiveNOW is showing up with purpose and impact

  • Shape how LiveNOW shows up in vertical video ecosystems (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)

Win on YouTube

  • Drive strategy across live streams, long-form video, and Shorts

  • Guide content team on packaging, programming, and presentation-including titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and live decisions that drive reach and watch time

Bring Editorial Judgment to Social

  • Act as a trusted editorial voice in how breaking news is presented across platforms

  • Help team understand what works-and what doesn't, balancing platform performance with journalistic integrity

  • Provide clear guardrails on tone, framing, and platform-appropriate storytelling

Drive Live & Real-Time Execution

  • Lead how we package and distribute live breaking news in the moment

  • Partner closely with the team and editorial leaders to make fast, informed decisions during major news events

Build Workflows That Scale

  • Establish efficient, repeatable workflows that make it easy for producers and hosts to execute strong social and YouTube content

  • Create clarity-so teams know what to do, when to do it, and why it matters

Coach, Motivate & Empower the Team

  • Serve as a trusted, motivating partner to hosts and producers-someone they rely on for smart, practical guidance

  • Lead through influence by delivering crisp, actionable recommendations backed by performance data

  • Equip the team with clear playbooks, best practices, and ongoing feedback that drive results

Turn Insights Into Action

  • Analyze performance across platforms and translate data into clear, digestible takeaways

  • Identify trends, test new ideas, and quickly scale what works across the team

  • Keep the team engaged with updated performance data on progress to KPI goals

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Experience leading successful digital audience growth strategies, including social media and YouTube, with emphasis on news content (live is a plus!)

  • Strong understanding of both editorial decision-making and platform performance

  • Deep knowledge of YouTube (live + VOD + Shorts) and social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads

  • Proven ability to create or guide compelling, platform-native content, especially in live and vertical formats

  • Ability to build trust quickly and influence teams without direct authority

  • Strong communicator who can deliver clear, concise, and data-backed guidance

  • Experience building workflows, playbooks, or systems that scale across a team

  • Data-driven mindset with sharp editorial instincts

  • Curiosity for emerging platforms, news formats, and audience behaviors

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $80,000.00-90,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
