Job description

Help financial advisors design stronger retirement income, annuity, and insurance solutions for their clients.

Synergy Wealth Solutions is seeking a Retirement Income & Annuity Specialist to serve as a key resource for our financial advisors, wealth management teams, and client service partners. This role focuses on annuity products, retirement income strategies, insurance solutions, case design, advisor support, and business development. You will help advisors identify planning opportunities, compare product solutions, build proposals, support applications, and deliver a better experience for clients approaching or living in retirement.

What You'll Do:

· Serve as a firmwide resource for annuities, retirement income planning, life insurance concepts, and income distribution strategies.

· Consult with financial advisors on fixed, indexed, income, variable annuity, RILA, and protection-based solutions.

· Support case design, product comparisons, illustrations, proposals, and client-facing recommendations.

· Assist with annuity applications, new business processing, case management, suitability requirements, and placement support.

· Partner with advisors to uncover planning opportunities related to retirement income, tax deferral, risk management, guaranteed income, and asset protection.

· Deliver training, product updates, market insights, and practice development ideas to advisors and staff.

· Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, wholesalers, carrier partners, broker-dealer resources, and wealth management teams to ensure a smooth business process.

· Help increase advisor utilization of annuity and insurance solutions while driving firmwide production growth.

What Success Looks Like:

· Become a trusted annuity, insurance, and retirement planning resource for advisors across the organization.

· Increase advisor engagement with retirement income planning and annuity-based solutions.

· Improve case design quality, application accuracy, placement efficiency, and advisor experience.

· Contribute to growth in annuity production, life and annuity revenue, and broader financial planning activity.

Qualifications:

Required

· Active Life & Health Insurance License

· 3+ years of experience in annuities, life insurance, retirement planning, wealth management, financial services, or advisor sales support

· Strong understanding of annuity products, retirement income concepts, insurance planning, and financial advisor workflows

· Ability to explain complex planning strategies, product features, and case recommendations in clear, practical language

· Excellent communication, relationship-building, organization, and follow-through skills

Preferred

· FINRA registrations such as Series 6, 7, 63, and/or 66

· Experience supporting financial advisors, insurance agents, or wealth management professionals in a consultative sales support role

· Experience with broker-dealer, independent advisory, insurance, RIA, financial planning, or retirement income platforms

· Familiarity with annuity suitability, product positioning, carrier workflows, and new business processes
