Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced digital cutting table Operator (Zund, Kongsberg or Gerber) in our Large Format finishing department. The operator will be responsible for the day-to-day cutting production and maintenance of the Zund cutting table.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Read and understand job tickets. Use job ticket information to ensure production is produced according to specification
• Perform quality checks according to established procedures to ensure high quality of production
• Monitor machine efficiencies & speed to ensure production levels meet or exceed standards & make appropriate adjustments
• Work in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Responsible for the overall safety and cleanliness of equipment and area
• Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Ability to set up and operate a digital cutting table such as Zund, Kongsberg or Gerber
• Working knowledge of digital, offset, and large format printing processes
• A strong attention to detail and focus on quality
• Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
• Able to multi task well, remain organized, and handle many projects at one time
• Hard-working, assertive, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Mechanically inclined and production oriented
• Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization
• Ability to react quickly and make continuous adjustments to provide top quality products
• Must be able to read a tape measure and basic computer skills

Qualifications - Education, Experience, License/Certifications:
• Minimum of one years of digital cutting or printing industry experience
• High School Diploma
Physical Requirements
