The Role

Under the direction of the section lead, you'll cut vinyl materials used in the production of commercial and industrial dock equipment components using a state-of-the-art Zund digital cutting machine. You'll handle and position materials, monitor cutting operations, and ensure components meet quality specifications. No previous Zund experience is required. If you're mechanically inclined and eager to learn, we'll train you!


What You’ll Do

  • Operate a Zund digital cutting machine to cut vinyl materials according to work orders and specifications
  • Load, position, and handle vinyl materials throughout the cutting process
  • Monitor machine operation to ensure accurate cuts and efficient production
  • Inspect cut components for quality, accuracy, and consistency
  • Read and follow work orders and production instructions
  • Maintain material flow and organization within the department
  • Perform basic machine care and routine housekeeping tasks
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures
Requirements:

What We’re Looking For

You don't need to have operated a Zund cutting machine before, but you do need to be mechanically inclined and take pride in your work. We welcome candidates with experience in:

  • Manufacturing or production environments
  • Machine operation or equipment monitoring
  • Material handling and quality inspection
  • Assembly or fabrication work
  • Any hands-on role requiring attention to detail and a willingness to learn
