Job description

Adjunct Instructors for Doctor of Physical Therapy Program

The Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell is searching for part-time adjunct instructors to teach in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Teaching opportunities are available beginning in Fall 2025 semester. We seek candidates with expertise in orthopedic/musculoskeletal, neurological, pediatric, geriatric, acute care, and/or cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapy.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy, Doctor of Physical Therapy preferred
  • Physical Therapy License in Massachusetts (Current)
  • The ability to work effectively with diverse student, faculty, and staff populations

Additional considerations:

  • Candidates with qualifications to teach in more than one area will be given priority
  • Candidates with a DPT or higher degree will be given priority
  • Previous teaching experience at the university/college level is desirable
  • Previous clinical education supervision is desirable
