What You'll Do as a Transportation Coordinator:Transportation & Fleet Coordination
  • Assign and coordinate passenger trips to drivers to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Monitor daily transportation activity and make real-time adjustments as needed
  • Communicate trip assignments, schedule updates, and operational information to drivers
  • Help maintain on-time pickups and drop-offs while meeting company service standards
  • Respond promptly to service changes, driver requests, and customer needs
  • Support efficient fleet utilization and operational performance
Driver & Customer Support
  • Serve as a central communication point between drivers, passengers, and management
  • Provide drivers with trip details, route support, and operational assistance
  • Handle customer inquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Assist in resolving service concerns and transportation-related issues
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through clear communication and timely follow-up
Administrative & Operational Support
  • Maintain accurate transportation records, trip details, and operational documentation
  • Monitor service performance and daily activity reports
  • Assist with reporting, data entry, and operational tracking
  • Work closely with management and team members to support daily operational goals
  • Identify opportunities to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction
Qualifications of a Transportation Coordinator:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in transportation, dispatching, scheduling, logistics, customer service, call center operations, or a related field preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to stay calm and effective in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
