What you can expect

Zoom is seeking an Account Executive to sell our Zoom Workplace platform to Education (K-12 & Higher Education) accounts in Texas, (Higher Education) in Illinois. In this role, you will engage with CIOs, , and IT leaders to help them modernize communication and collaboration with AI-powered Zoom solutions. This is a consultative, strategic selling role focused on AI initiatives and digital transformation.

About the Team

As part of Zoom's Public Sector Education Sales team, you will expand our presence across the Texas or Illinois Education market. You will advocate the innovative power of our platform to make Education more productive, collaborative, and mobile.

Responsibilities
  • Acquiring and growing Education accounts across Texas or Illinois
  • Leading with AI and digital transformation conversations—position Zoom's federated AI model and Workplace platform as strategic enablers for education modernization and student success
  • Selling consultatively to education CIOs and stakeholders on AI initiatives and Zoom Workplace
  • Building trusted relationships with executives and IT leaders in the Texas or Illinois education market
  • Delivering demos, proposals, negotiations, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) that emphasize AI capabilities and business outcomes
  • Navigating complex education procurement processes and long public sector sales cycles
  • Partnering with channel organizations to expand reach and accelerate adoption and territory growth
  • Working strategically with management to deliver forecasts, identify trending opportunities/challenges, and provide recommended solutions
What we're looking for
  • 5+ years of Account Executive experience with consistent quota attainment
  • Have experience selling into the eduction space in Texas or Illinois
  • Have background in AI and SaaS sales with a proven track record of consultative, solution-oriented selling
  • Have a consultative selling approach with ability to engage C-level executives on strategic AI and digital transformation initiatives
  • Have experience managing education procurement and contracting cycles
  • Reside in Texas or Illinois. This position is for either state, covering territory within that state (not both)
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:

Minimum:

$160,000.00

Maximum:

$326,400.00

In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.

We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
