What You'll Do

• Train as a Culinarian at Zombie Taco inside Moxy Louisville - learning and practicing the full duties of a professional cook in a structured culinary development program
• Follow all White Lodging F&B procedures, health department regulations, and federal food safety guidelines across every shift in this high-energy Louisville hotel kitchen
• Practice proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures in accordance with HACCP standards and Moxy brand requirements
• Assist in maintaining food cost and labor cost standards - contributing to the financial performance and operational efficiency of the Zombie Taco culinary team
• Check ingredient freshness and follow all recipes and portion-use records - ensuring every dish leaving the Zombie Taco kitchen meets established quality and presentation standards
• Monitor guest feedback scores and work proactively to positively influence food quality rankings for Zombie Taco and Moxy Louisville
• Foster a climate of cooperation and respect among all coworkers in this fast-paced hotel restaurant kitchen environment

What You'll Bring

• No prior restaurant or hotel kitchen experience required - just a genuine passion for food and beverage, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow as a culinary professional in Louisville, Kentucky
• Basic knowledge of commercial kitchen equipment and cooking techniques - any prior exposure to a professional kitchen environment is a plus
• Foundational skills in sauteing, broiling, frying, roasting, butchery, garde manger, pantry, and breakfast cookery - or a strong desire to develop these skills through our structured culinary training program
• Culinary degree or apprenticeship preferred - not required; we will train the right candidate
• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for long periods in a high-volume hotel restaurant kitchen environment
