Hi, We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage the financial operations and support sales growth for one of our Ferneries. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, handsโ€‘on experience with accounting tools and software, and a proven ability to build and support sales operations. Prior experience working with nurseries, farms, or horticultureโ€‘based businesses will be a strong advantage.

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage the financial operations and support sales growth for one of our Ferneries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage dayโ€‘toโ€‘day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reports.
  • Monitor budgets, cash flow, and operating expenses for the farm.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax consultants as needed.
Systems & Tools
  • Efficiently use accounting software and tools (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar).
  • Maintain and improve financial tracking systems for inventory, sales, and expenses.
  • Generate periodic financial and management reports to support business decisions.
Sales & Revenue Support
  • Support the development and execution of sales strategies for fern and nursery products.
  • Track sales performance, customer accounts, pricing, and margins.
  • Assist in building new customer relationships and maintaining existing accounts.
  • Coordinate with operations and sales teams to forecast demand and revenue.
  • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and improve profitability.
Operations & Coordination
  • Work closely with farm operations to align financial planning with production cycles.
  • Support inventory costing and valuation related to nursery stock.

Required Qualifications
