Mount Zion Health & Rehab Center is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated Maintenance Director to lead our facility maintenance operations. As the Maintenance Director, you will oversee the daily maintenance operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while maintaining a welcoming and well-maintained environment for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Your Role as Maintenance Director

You will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance functions within the facility to ensure a safe, clean, and properly functioning environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing daily maintenance operations and preventative maintenance programs

  • Managing building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems

  • Performing and coordinating repairs, renovations, and facility improvements

  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, local, and life safety regulations

  • Maintaining maintenance records, inspections, and documentation

  • Responding to maintenance requests and emergency repair situations

  • Supervising maintenance staff and outside contractors as needed

  • Assisting with budgeting, inventory, and purchasing of maintenance supplies

  • Promoting a safe and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors

Who We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous maintenance leadership experience preferred

  • Experience in healthcare, long-term care, skilled nursing, or related settings preferred

  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building maintenance

  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage projects effectively

  • Commitment to resident safety and quality of care
