Job description

Position Summary

The Infrastructure Services Engineer is responsible for working in a team environment to support and enhance the development and management of DartPoints’ Infrastructure Services line of products and customers.

DartPoints’ suite of Infrastructure Services includes:

  • Multi-Tenantand Private Cloud environments
  • OS and anti-virus management
  • Full server and network device monitoring and management
  • Managed backup and vaulting
  • Managed disaster recovery and replication
  • Managedfirewalland network appliances
  • Managed IPS/IDS appliances

Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintenance, changemanagement,issue resolution,lifecycle managementand support ofserver, storage, networksystems forDartPointscustomer facingplatforms
  • Manageavailability of multi-tenant cloud platforms, delivering 99.999% uptime SLA to customers
  • New customer provisioning and services installation
  • Escalation resource forCustomer Support Teams
  • Act as final-tier escalation for critical incidents;participatein 24×7 on-call rotation
  • Maintain a working level ofproficiencywith allDartPointsservices
  • Other as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Network Services, Information Technology, Systems Administration,or other technical discipline and 2 - 4 years of applicable experience
  • 2-5yearshands-on experience managingnetworking and virtualization
  • Deepexpertisewith Veeam Backup & Replication and/or Zerto in multi-site replication in enterprise or service-provider environmentsor other data protection software
  • knowledge of hypervisors (VMwareESXidesired)
  • Comfortable with physical data center tasks: racking, cabling, smart hands, hardware break-fix, and DCIM tools
  • General understanding of IP networking isrequired
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail, making and keeping commitments and meeting deadlines
  • Relevant certifications preferred:NCP-MCI, VCP-DCV
