Job Description
The Zelis Purpose
We founded Zelis to help control the rising cost of healthcare and make healthcare more affordable for all of us.
Position Overview:
Zelis is pursuing an aggressive organic and non-organic growth strategy focused on providing superior healthcare claim lifecycle solutions to payors, providers and individuals from pre-payment through payment. The Account Manager will have responsibility for supporting the day to day management of a large, national payer account within the Zelis portfolio. The Account Manager will partner with the Director of National Accounts for client administration, delivering best in class service and providing proactive solutions to maintain a positive client relationship.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide support in the completion of administrative tasks related to client updates, managing go-live calls and other service-oriented actions to ensure optimal results
• Partner with Operations, IT and other internal teams to align against project deliverables as well as providing tracking, status updates for client milestones
• Troubleshoot Operational and IT issues; research issues, liaise with management to determine communications to the client as well as issue resolution
• Monitor internal quarterly reporting; scale to understanding data and identifying trends, additional savings opportunities, product performance, and other reportable metrics
• Handle escalated issues from Client Services and/or other internal teams that require client interaction
• Partner with Director National Accounts for presentations, client meetings, and other client-facing communication
• Maintain awareness of and ensure adherence to Zelis standards regarding privacy
Qualifications
Preferred Experience / Qualification
• 1-3 years + experience working within healthcare in a client facing role
• Ability to work independently as a skill basis and product knowledge increases
• Dynamic interpersonal skills that will enable developing a strong rapport with the client
• Ability to clearly communicate with clients and internal ZELIS stakeholders
• A sense of urgency, ability to multi-task
• Solid project management and analytical skills desirable
• Thorough knowledge of Excel and other MS Suite products
• Experience with SalesForce.com is a plus
• Travel requirements to (primarily) domestic destinations should not exceed 15%.
Education:
BS Degree preferred but not required
