Job description

Summary: The Production Operator is responsible for running the ZED machine, filling tubes, and operate maintenance of the Kentex K800-MS. Responsible for general housekeeping of workstation and keeping equipment clean. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
  • Performs necessary machine set-up, repairs, adjustments, changeovers, and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
  • Performs operation of production equipment with the responsibility of production efficiency, utility, and equipment downtime.,
  • Complete the Cleanroom Use and Preparation form for the room being use and follow all cleanroom policies and procedures for that area
  • Clean the kentex machine and free it of any glue
  • Reports discrepancies to supervisory personnel in a timely manner.
  • Promotes a positive work environment.
  • Communicates with Team Lead or Production Supervisor of any inventory needs/requests.
  • Communicates with Team Lead or Production Supervisor any issues with the equipment.
  • Communicates with Team Lead or Production Supervisor if any unforeseen conflicts to the production schedules arise.
  • Ensure and maintains workstations are kept safe and free of clutter.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a positive attitude and possess the ability to multitask and work well with others.
  • Ability to multitask and work well with others.
Language Skills:
  • English required; Spanish is a plus.
  • Reasonable accommodations can be made, up to and including translation services.
Physical Demands:
  • Position requires walking, standing for prolonged periods, occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. May frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
  • Non-temperature-controlled warehouse, non-temperature-controlled production floor, temperature-controlled office.
