Description Job Title: Zamboni Driver Location: Veterans Memorial Arena, West Fargo Park District Job Type: Part-Time, Seasonal Pay: $16-$18 per hour Join Our Team. The West Fargo Park District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Zamboni Driver to join our team at the Veterans Memorial Arena. If you have a passion for ice sports, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in maintaining high-quality ice surfaces, this opportunity is for you.

Position Overview As a Zamboni Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our ice rink is always in excellent condition for hockey games, figure skating, and other ice-related activities. You will operate the Zamboni to resurface the ice, maintain its quality, and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness in the facility. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate the Zamboni: Safely and effectively operate the ice Zamboni to maintain optimal ice conditions for various events.

Ice Maintenance: Monitor and assess ice quality, performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the surface remains safe and enjoyable for all users. Facility Cleaning: Assist with general cleaning and maintenance of the Veterans Memorial Arena, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for visitors and participants. Skate Sharpening: Sharpen skates for hockey players and figure skaters, ensuring they have the necessary equipment to perform at their best.

Event Support: Collaborate with staff during events to assist with any additional ice maintenance or operational needs that may arise. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery and working in the facility. Minimum Qualifications Must be 17 years or older.

Previous experience operating a Zamboni is not required; we are willing to train the right candidate. Additional compensation for candidates with previous Zamboni experience. A strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
