Opportunity
PsyPhyCare, a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide on-site medical and wellness services within a federally supported residential youth program in Glide, Oregon 97443.
Our client operates a comprehensive residential program serving young adults, ages 16-24. The program's mission is to prepare participants for meaningful employment and independent living.
This role provides direct clinical services to students and collaborates closely with residential and program staff in a structured, community-based environment.
Position Overview
This is a contract position, up to 20 hours per week.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • No weekends required
  • Location: On-site in Glide, OR (no telehealth or remote option)

The Registered Nurse will support the Health & Wellness program through direct patient care, prevention initiatives, health education, and coordination with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary staff.
Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will provide on-site nursing services within the scope of practice under the applicable state nurse practice act and facility Wellness Guidelines.
Responsibilities include:
  • Triaging urgent and emergent medical situations
  • Providing first aid, clinical assessments, and basic treatment
  • Monitoring students with chronic health conditions
  • Administering medications and assisting with examinations
  • Coordinating referrals and follow-up care with healthcare providers
  • Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation and records
  • Tracking laboratory results, immunizations, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Delivering individual and group health education sessions
  • Maintaining medical and prescription supply inventories
  • Providing staff training on health and wellness topics
  • Collaborating with community healthcare partners and program leadership
  • Supporting a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment
  • Mentoring students through professional role modeling and participation in program initiatives as assigned
Qualifications
Licensure
  • Candidates must hold a current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oregon.
  • Client Preferences includes:
    • Youth Experience prefer in school setting.
    • Calm under pressure.
    • Excellent at taking notes.
    • RN could spot learning disabilities and or mental health issues.
    • Someone who could prep medication for the students overnight and the weekends.

Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience in a clinical, school-based, residential, or community health setting required.
  • Experience working with adolescents or young adults preferred.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.

The salary rate is negotiable.
Education
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
