Job description

Job Purpose:


Provides and prepares meals for youth, staff, and guests in a welcoming and positive environment. This is a part-time position (26-28 hours per week) with a consistent weekday schedule.

Essential Job Functions:


  • Prepare, cook, and serve meals in accordance with safety and dietary guidelines.
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area, following proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
  • Contribute to meal planning and preparationย 
  • Interact with staff, youth, and guests in a friendly and professional manner, promoting a positive atmosphere.
  • Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to maintain consistent meal service.
  • Assist with special events or dietary accommodations as needed.
  • Support overall organizational goals by ensuring meals are served efficiently, safely, and with care.

Job Qualifications:


  • Valid Drivers License
  • Ability to handle long periods of time on feet, frequent bending, and lifting up to 20 ibs
  • Ability to plan, organize, and set priorities
  • Willingness to support special events that may be scheduled outisde of normal working hours
