Job Title: Yoga Instructor

Job Summary:
We are seeking passionate and skilled Yoga Instructors to lead engaging group fitness classes. The Yoga Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality, safe, and motivating yoga sessions designed to meet the needs of our clients, while fostering a welcoming and inspiring environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead safe, effective, and engaging yoga classes that cater to a variety of skill levels.
  • Arrive early to prepare the space, greet participants, answer questions, and address concerns.
  • Dress professionally and appropriately for teaching yoga sessions.
  • Prepare class plans in advance, with music and routines ready before class begins.
  • Learn and use participants' names to create a personal connection.
  • Share educational and wellness information with class participants.
  • Teach with energy, enthusiasm, and proper form to inspire and motivate participants.
  • Welcome new participants, providing orientation and basic exercise safety tips.
  • Stay current with yoga, fitness, and safety trends.
  • Report any equipment or facility issues to management promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the class area according to company standards.
  • Begin and end classes on time.
  • Attend scheduled staff meetings and professional training sessions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Current certification from a nationally accredited organization (e.g., ACE, ACSM, or equivalent) with a Yoga specialty.
  • Background in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Health Education, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certifications required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-organized and prepared to teach classes effectively.
  • Excellent physical condition and ability to demonstrate yoga poses safely.
  • Ability to develop original routines tailored to class needs.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and remain standing for extended periods.
  • Comfortable with stooping, kneeling, bending, and reaching.
  • Availability to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Visual and auditory ability to observe and instruct participants effectively.
