ROLE: Yoga & Fitness Coordinator
REPORTS TO: Manager of Programs
TYPE OF POSITION: Part Time, Hourly,

Job Description: This is a part-time, hourly position that consists of several responsibilities, the primary purpose being to develop, maintain and manage the vision and operations for Spot yoga and fitness programming.
Must be able to multi-task several objectives and set long term and short term goals. Daily tasks may range from scheduling and running classes. The position requires someone that is self motivated and possesses skills that support organizational activities. Must be willing to work some evening and weekend hours.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the COO, Marketing Manager, and Programming teams to create and market quality programming for the community. 
  • Create, implement and maintain engaging yoga and fitness class experiences for members and guests in line with The Spot brand and mission. 
  • Develop and maintain wellness offerings that complement climbing and an active lifestyle
    • Manage and maintain the fitness and yoga equipment and spaces
    • Schedule fitness, wellness, and yoga staff for max efficiency
    • Review and approve time clocks on bi-weekly basis
    • Maintain a current inventory of all fitness and yoga equipment
    • Follow SOPs to properly record all setting related revenues and expenses
  • Keep all departmental SOPs current per industry standards and Spot standards, and where necessary develop SOPs to fill any gaps in Spot yoga and fitness procedures and processes 
  • Communicate and coordinate with all other departments, our clients, and the public in fulfillment of duties and responsibilities
    • Collaborate with Marketing to promote new class offerings, events, workshops, etc.
  • Create a method and approach to performing class quality checks, and ensure data collection and metric management are priority.
    • Track metrics to target optimal performance and ensure value to members 
  • Create, manage and maintain a consistent feedback loop with our community
    • Incorporate regular client feedback into our route setting program

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of four years of prior experience in yoga and fitness
  • Extensive knowledge of yoga practice and various fitness disciplines
  • College graduate or equivalent experience
  • Proven skills in business and leadership management
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a proactively diverse and inclusive organization
  • Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and supervise a team.
  • Effective problem - solving and mediation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to share skills and knowledge with others
  • Proficiency with office computer equipment and software. Specifically, but not limited to Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work in a fast - paced office setting
  • Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress and crisis situations

Performance Review Schedule:
