Job description

Position: Yoga Instructor
FLSA Status: Part-Time Non-Exempt
Reports To: Holistic Health Manager
POSITION Description: This position includes the leading group yoga classes and yoga schedule coordination. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide class instruction that is consistent with the class format as scheduled by the Holistic Health Manager
  • Monitor and instruct guests during Yoga sessions by educating on correct form and alternative poses
  • Monitor class participants, provided one-on-one assistance to correct form and/or provide exercise modifications
  • Design and instruct innovative fitness classes to a wide range of clientele and fitness levels
  • Greet visitors and direct clients to appropriate areas
  • Coordinate with the Holistic Health Manager to ensure that all Yoga related tasks are being completed
  • Interact with customers when appropriate, answering questions as needed
  • Comply with HIPAA privacy requirements and processes
  • Help with the promotion and coordination of yoga participation
  • Clean yoga props such as blocks, blankets, straps, and mats
  • Ensure the yoga space is clean and tidy
  • Recommend stretches for clientโ€™s individual needs
  • Help track yoga client payments
