Job Title and Description

Recruiter/Employee onboarding Specialist

Seeking 1 part-time candidate with flexible hours determined upon hire Candidates must be strongly proficient in MS Office Suite, G-Suite, Pages, Keynote. Ability to quickly adapt to multiple technology platforms is an essential requirement. Company headquarters is in Santa Monica, CA, however PranaSpirit is a New York State employer. Hours of operation are PST. This position is remote, that is work will be performed virtually. Applicants must reside in the state of New York to be considered.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Recruiting

o Virtual/remote support for recruitment and hiring assistance

o Review of candidate resumes and cover letters on ZipRecruiter

o Provide suggestions for edits to job postings/descriptions

o Phone screenings of prospective candidates

o Tracking and evaluation of candidates to select the top candidates for the positions to pass onto owner for final hiring decision

o Consult with owner/CEO on recruitment matters

o Provide insight and recommendations for best hiring practices in consultation with owner/CEO

• Onboarding:

o Develop and write SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for the company. o Observe current employees as they perform tasks in various company systems to aid in development of the SOPs.

o Coordinate audio/video recordings to aid in the development of SOPs

• Staff Training & development:

o Development of training materials for new virtual employees

o Assist with virtual/remote training of new employees

o As needed, update company policies and procedures/SOPs

o Develop SOPs related to staff retention and development, including Myers’ Briggs Type indicator and coordination of team meetings to discuss

Possible job responsibilities:

• Provide coverage as needed for administrative tasks in the company

• Marketing/content writing/blogging

o writing blogs/email newsletters for the company

o social media posts and email / automation/drip campaigns, set up, implementation and execution, building engagement on Instagram, creating videos for Tik Tok

o market research and client acquisition (e.g. set up of lead magnets)

o Website copywriting/editing

This position offers the opportunity for growth within the Company.

Required and desirable knowledge, skills, abilities

● Must have a minimum of one year of work experience in customer service and/or an administrative role and recruiting, human resources

Specific recruiting/HR experience in healthcare and education companies desired

● Minimum education required: high school: junior/senior, college, grad school (current student)

● Must be highly tech savvy, with the ability to learn new platforms quickly and efficiently.

● Impeccable writing and grammar skills, along with a strong phone presence

Excellent verbal communication skills

● Ability to be flexible, in terms of work hours.

● Ability to multitask and work well under pressure and with various deadlines

● Experience with MindBody online software is desirable

● This is primarily a part time, temporary position, possibility of becoming permanent if the candidate decides to take one of the available positions.

Compensation

Hourly rate range - $18-$20 per hour, to be determined based on qualifications and experience.
