This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Swim Coach provides support, instruction and motivation for swim team participants. The Swim Coach creates a safe and positive atmosphere that welcomes and respects all individuals and promotes safety in accordance with YMCA policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum age of 17 years old.
  • Minimum 6 months previous swim team coaching experience, or equivalent.
  • Current YMCA & USA Swim Coach certification.
  • Current ARC or YMCA Lifeguard certification.
  • Current CPR PRO & First Aid certifications.
