Now Hiring: School Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 School Year!

We're seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to support students in a school-based setting in Yelm, Washington. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping students achieve their educational and functional goals in a collaborative environment. ?

Position Details
  • ?? Location: Yelm, WA
  • Discipline: Physical Therapist (School-Based)
  • Start Date: September 9, 2026
  • Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract Length: 40 weeks
  • Openings: 1
  • Caseload: Approximately 40-45 students across all grade levels
  • Interview Process: Virtual interview with the SPED Director
  • Timekeeping System: MaxView Timeclock
Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct student evaluations and assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct physical therapy services in accordance with each student's plan of care.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other educational professionals.
  • Support students in achieving mobility, functional, and educational goals.
Minimum Requirements
  • Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Washington or eligibility for licensure.
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • One (1) year of professional Physical Therapy experience preferred.
  • Compliance with all applicable professional standards of practice.
  • Current CPR certification, if required.
  • Current TB screening, PPD, or chest X-ray, if required.
  • Current health certificate, if required by contract or state regulations.
  • Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
Compensation ??
  • Pay Rate: $65/hour
  • Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,437.50
