Automotive Service Technician / Alignment Specialist

Position Summary
McCarthy Tire Service is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician / Alignment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll perform wheel alignments, tire services, diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and repairs to keep customers' vehicles safe and performing at their best.
Responsibilities
  • Perform wheel alignments and suspension inspections.
  • Mount, balance, rotate, repair, and replace passenger vehicle tires.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, wheel balancing, tune-ups, and filter replacements.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections, road tests, and state inspections.
  • Accurately document repairs and maintenance performed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Assist with inventory, shop operations, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Current State Inspection License required.
  • Personal tools required.
  • Experience with passenger vehicle tire service and wheel alignments preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
